Traditional services, similar to those found in a Conservative synagogue, are offered at Sinai Temple on many Shabbatot, as well as on Rosh Hashanah, Kol Nidrei, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Shavuot, Purim and Passover.
Traditional services are organized by the Egalitarian Traditional Minyan. Services are lay led, egalitarian and are followed by a full kiddush lunch. The Egalitarian Traditional Minyan welcomes – and even helps to train - people to chant Torah, Haftorah, lead a portion of service and present a D’var Torah or Drosh.
