Special teen edition of the klezmer slow jam on Wednesday, July 27th, 7:00pm. All instruments welcome, no experience necessary. Weather permitting, we’ll be meeting outside.
Please contact Frances Harris (franceyfidl at gmail.com) for the address, a link to the music, and with any questions. This style of music is typically played by ear, but jam participants are welcome to print the sheet music and bring it along. There will be at least one set at the jam.
Klezmer music is the traditional music of Jewish Eastern Europe, but is now played by people of all backgrounds all over the world. It is most often played for Yiddish-style dancing at weddings and other celebrations.
