CELEBRITY JUDGES ANNOUNCED
We’re excited to announce that three distinguished community leaders will serve as celebrity judges for the Grand Finale Kugel Cookoff, the joyful closing event of the inaugural Midwest Yiddishfest.
Our judges represent the vibrant communities that make up Champaign-Urbana:

These judges capture exactly what Yiddishfest is about - bringing us together across the area to celebrate our diverse, shared culture, food, and joy!
The Grand Finale Kugel Cookoff will take place on Sunday, November 16 at 4:00 PM at the ARC, featuring live klezmer music, tastings, and a community awards celebration. Join us as local home cooks and professionals showcase their favorite takes on the beloved Jewish comfort dish—sweet or savory!
