Professor Pnina Motzafi-Haller teaches Anthropology at Ben Gurion University. She is an Israel Institute visiting scholar at the University of Illinois this year. She will read from her new book, Cement Boxes: Mizrahi Women on Israel's Periphery, and discuss life on Israel's periphery.
