Join us to hear Dr. Eugene Avrutin, the Director of the Program in Jewish Culture and Society at the University of Illinois. He will talk about the many different projects he has worked on during his time in Champaign-Urbana, such as the recent Antisemitism on the American Campus Conference that took place in May.  Dr. Avrutin is also the author of several books, including Jews and the Imperial State: Identification Politics in Tsarist Russia and The Velizh Affair: Blood Libel in a Russian Town.
