CUJF is a member of the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) and together, our Federations work to make an impact on Jewish life not only in our local communities, but all over the world.
Each year the renowned JFNA General Assembly brings together thousands of Jewish leaders and community members. The GA has been an in-person conference until this year.
This year’s GA 2020 was virtual, yet still brought together Jews from across backgrounds, political viewpoints and even continents–to enlighten, engage and inspire. The GA celebrated Jewish Federation accomplishments over these past tough months, examine our current challenges and work to ensure a strong, flourishing Jewish community.
You can see the recordings of the sessions here.
The 2020 GA is comprised of two main plenaries:
Plenary one, FederationTogether, took place on October 25, 2020 It tells the story of how Federations worked together to address the unprecedented challenges brought on by the COVID pandemic. In this plenary, they feature a video that takes a look back and comments on our most powerful moments.
Plenary two, JewishTogether, took place on October 26, 2020. It will showcases the depth and breadth of Jewish communal life and share stories of how we responded, reimagined and shined together.
