Dr. Jacob Sosnoff is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health and Associate Director of the Center on Health, Aging and Disability in the College of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is the founding director of the Illini Fall Prevention Clinic. He earned his PhD in kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University where he was a National Institute of Aging pre-doctoral fellow and a Kligman fellow. His current research focuses on the predictors, consequences and prevention of falls. He focuses on developing and validating technology to provide seniors with non-clinical approaches to measure and manage their fall risk.
