Surviving the Holocaust: Dr. Gingold & The Righteous Among Nations Exhibit

9:00AM - 11:55AM

Born in Warsaw just days after Nazi Germany’s invasion, Dr. William Gingold shares his family’s harrowing survival through the Warsaw Ghetto, deportation to Siberia, and displacement before reaching Ellis Island in 1951. His story reflects resilience, loss, and hope amid unimaginable challenges.

Complementing his testimony, the Holocaust Exhibit honors the “Righteous Among the Nations”—non-Jewish individuals from many nations and faiths who risked everything to rescue Jews, exemplifying courage and compassion during one of history’s darkest times.
