Wednesday, June 5, at 7 PM, Sinai Temple, CUJF, and Hillel  will present a showing of the new documentary “Screams Before Silence” about the October 7 attacks.  The film, approximately one hour long, documents the atrocity of the attacks with first-person testimony from survivors, first responders, eyewitnesses, released hostages, forensic experts, and advocates.

This is a preface to next Thursday, June 6, at 6 PM Central, when ARZA (the American Reform Zionist Association), in conjunction with the Union for Reform Judaism, will present a special online panel discussion about the film, featuring producer Sheryl Sandberg, Rabbi Liz P. G. Hirsch, and Yolanda Savage-Narva, Vice President of REDI for the Union for Reform Judaism.  We will host a group viewing of the panel discussion at Sinai Temple, or you may register at https://tinyurl.com/sbspanel to view it on your own.  

Both the film and the panel discussion will contain graphic accounts of sexual violence against women. We encourage you to take care of your mental and emotional health during and after the event.  Viewer discretion is advised.  We will not admit anyone under the age of 18.
