We invite all community members to join us in marching in the Pride Parade with CUJF. We are also looking for a few volunteers to help staff our Pride Fest Fair booth, in partnership with Hillel. CU Pride Parade - March with CUJF!

Date: October 25th

Time: We will be gathering shortly after noon and will be marching until approximately 2pm. 

Location: The parade goes through downtown Urbana and we'll share our meeting location with marchers before the event

 

CU Pride Fest Fair Booth with CUJF and Hillel!

Date: October 25th

Time: 12:00-4:00pm

Location: The fair is also located in downtown Urbana and we'll share our booth location with volunteers before the event

The Uniting Pride of Champaign County has sent out a few guidelines ahead of Pridefest, including behavioral expectations. While they are not expecting issues, any hateful language, imagery, or behavior based on race, gender, sexuality, or ability will not be tolerated at this event.  This will be true of the CUJF and Hillel space as well! Our purpose at this event is to come together and show our Queer Pride as Jewish organizations, and to connect with our fellow queer community. Please keep this in mind as your prepare for the parade.
