Join us on Wednesday, October 30th from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at Sinai Temple for lunch from Maize and hear Joseph Altshuler share about the 2024 Chicago Sukkah Design Festival taking place in October! This year, the festival will have Sukkahs designed and built by five different community organizations in the Chicago Lawndale neighborhood. After the festival, this years Sukkahs will be permanently installed into the organizations' community centers and used for their programming.

 

Joseph Altshuler is the creator of the Chicago Sukkah Design Festival, in addition to the Assistant Professor of Architecture at UIUC and co-founder of Could Be Design. The 2024 Chicago Sukkah Design Festival has lots of fun and interesting events throughout October - you can learn more about them HERE!
