During the last full week of December, we put on our winter hats and coats as we bundled up for chill activites and seasonal fun! Each day, campers made a project relating to the holiday of Chanukah, read PJ stories, and got silly with snacktime. On Friday, camp was followed by a group Menorah Lighting and special Shabbat-Chanukah dinner - with dinner prepped by campers! Families came together to enjoy delicious soups and latkes, sing Chanukah songs, and see all of the wonderful things the campers did that week. You can see some photos above!

On November 5th, while parents headed to the polling centers, PJ Library and Sinai Temple had a day filled with special election day activities! Children were able to choose their party, either Team Latka or Team Hamentashen, relax with yoga, make campaign posters, solve clues on a voting scavenger hunt, and eat Latkies and Hamentashen. We also read several books and discussed the importance of elections! You can check out some photos from our camp above.
Summer Camp

This past July, PJ Library and Sinai Temple partnered to have a blast during their one week summer camp. Days were themed with a Jewish Value, beginning and ending with the reading of a PJ Book! Campers had a blast swimming outdoors and exploring the different crafts of the day. You can check out some highlights of this summer to get you hyped for upcoming Schools Out Camps.
