About the Program

Come to hear internationally acclaimed and award winning author Jeffrey Gingold as he speaks about his father Sam Gingold’s experiences during the Holocaust. Sam Gingold was only seven years old in 1939 when Germany invaded Poland.  Sam and his family were taken to the Warsaw Ghetto, where he helped his family survive by smuggling food and medicines.  Jeffrey will share the secrets of their survival and escape from the Ghetto, hiding and out running the Gestapo.

Jeffrey has been featured on several national television and radio shows, as well as in magazines and global publications. After his presentation, Mr. Gingold will hold a Q&A followed by a signing of his book, Tunnel, Smuggle, Collect: A Holocaust Boy. Copies of the book will be available at the event for $18, with 100% of proceeds going to support the Lilly and David Gingold Holocaust and Tolerance Education Outreach Fund.

This impactful program is FREE to the public. Although all ages are welcome, sensitive topics will be discussed, which may not be appropriate for children 12 and under.
